Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Agreement.
Provider collects certain information through the Website. This document (this “Privacy Policy”) lays out Provider’s policies and procedures surrounding the collection and handling of any such information that identifies an individual user or that could be used to contact or locate him or her (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Website. It does not apply to any third party site or service linked to the Website or recommended or referred by the Website or by Provider’s staff. In addition, it does not apply to any other website or online service operated by Provider, its affiliates, or to any of Provider’s offline activities.
A. PII Provider Collects
Provider collects the following PII from users who purchase the Provider’s Digital Solution: name, e-mail address, and information related to user’s credit card number for the purpose of processing credit card transactions.
Provider also uses “cookies” to collect certain information from all users, including website visitors who don’t purchase the Provider’s Digital Solutions and/or Modules through the Website. A cookie is a string of data Provider’s system sends to the user’s computer and then uses it to identify the user’s computer when the user returns to the Website. Cookies give Provider usage data, like how often the user visits, where the user goes at the site, and what the user does.
B. Provider’s Use of PII
Provider uses your PII to create your account, to communicate with you about Services you have subscribed to, to offer you additional products and services, to bill you, and to process credit transactions. We also use that information to the extent necessary to enforce the Agreement terms and conditions and to prevent imminent harm to persons or property.
Provider uses cookies so that the Website can remember you and provide you with the information you’re most likely to need. For instance, when you return to the Website, cookies identify you and prompt the site to provide your username (not your password), so you can sign in more quickly. Cookies also allow the Website to remind you of your subscriptions and to suggest similar products and services. Finally, Provider uses information gained through cookies to compile statistical information about use of the Website, such as the time users spend at the site and the pages they visit most often. Those statistics do not include PII.
C. Protection of PII
Provider employs the following data security tools to protect Personally Identifiable Information:
(i) All data transfers occur over SSL encryption.
(ii) Passwords are store only in a non-reversible encrypted format using the bcrypt algorithm.
(iii) Credit card details are never stored on our servers, but rather are handled by Shopify (www.shopify.com), our financial billing service provider, Shopify adheres to the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) for financial service providers.
Unfortunately, even with these measures, Provider cannot guarantee the security of PII. By using the Website, you acknowledge and agree that Provider makes no such guarantee, and that you use the Website at your own risk.
D. Contractor and Other Third Party Access to PII
Provider gives certain independent contractors access to PII. Those contractors assist us with marketing, statistical analysis, product development, financial transactions, etc. All those contractors are required to sign contracts in which they promise to protect PII using procedures reasonably equivalent to Provider’s. (Users are not third party beneficiaries of those contracts.) Provider also may disclose PII to attorneys, collection agencies, or law enforcement authorities to address violations, or illegal behavior. Provider also discloses any information demanded in a court order or otherwise required by law or to prevent imminent harm to persons or property.
As noted above, Provider compiles Website usage statistics from data collected through cookies. Provider may publish those statistics or share them with third parties, but such statistics do not include PII.
E. Accessing and Correcting Your PII
You can access and change any Personally Identifiable Information that Provider may store.
F. Amendment of this Privacy Policy
Provider may change this Privacy Policy at any time by following the procedure set forth in Section 4(a) of the Agreement. The new version will be effective as of the date listed at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
